To design any water fire system, the following must be known and calculated:
1- Number of sprinklers used.
2- The distance between the sprinklers.
3- The amount of water needed and the flow rate.
4- Required.
5- Tank size.
6- Pipes size.
The number of sprinklers used and the distance between them are determined according to the degree of danger (the speed of the flame spread). The higher the degree of risk, the lower the distance between the sprinklers.
